Over the Christmas period, the residents have enjoyed activities such as the Christmas raffle, Elf on the shelf, Christmas jumper day, Christmas carols and arts and crafts. Merry Christmas from all the staff and residents at The Village Care Home!

Halloween Raffle
Don't forget to get your raffle tickets for our Halloween raffle. The winner in first place will receive a Halloween hamper including sweet treats, spooky halloween glasses, two bottles of wine for the adults and chocolate for the kids!

The Village Care Home Summer Fair
Our Summer fair was a huge success, despite the rainy
weather! A big thank you to everyone that came to support
as well as being involved with the activities such as Face
painting and Tombola.
​
We made £400 from the fair. Thank you again to those
who visited and donated items.

A trip to the beach!

The Village Care Home featured in the Sunderland Echo where we raised £785 after following in Captain Tom's footsteps to walk around our garden.
We donated the grand total to the local charity, Dementia Sunderland, which supports those living with the illness and their families.
